RiverPro™ suture elicits a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissues, which is followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture of fibrous connective tissue.

Tensile Strength
RiverPro™ sutures are nonabsorbable and no significant change in strength retention is known to occur in vivo.

Ethylene oxide.
