Visipro™ is a monofilament non-absorbable surgical suture composed of a strand of polypropylene, a synthetic linear polyolefin with a fluorescent red dye.

Indications
Visipro™ suture is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological surgery.
Actions
Visipro™ suture elicits a minimal acute inflammatory reaction in tissues, which is followed by gradual encapsulation of the suture by fibrous connective tissue.
Tensile Strength
Polypropylene sutures are non-absorbable and there is no known significant change in strength retention in vivo.

Ethylene oxide.

Visipro™ suture is supplied sterile in precut lengths attached to various needle types in one dozen boxes and also on a cassette.
